Hello everybody, I have a question.

First of all, I'm French, so please excuse my English :)

Actually I have a 32" 1080p and I want to try 21:9.

I have
I7 6700k
MAXIMUS IX CODE (Z270)
32 Go DDR4 (4x8) 2800 MHz
RTX 2080 STRIX O8G

I am hesitating between the Z35 (2560x1080) and the Z35P (3440x1440).

Is my RTX 2080 enough for 60fps++ in all actual game on 1440p 21:9 or should I go for 1080p 21:9 ?

Thanks :)

Assassin's Creed can do 60+FPS at 3440x1440 with a 2080 at around "High" settings. That's what I meant about some titles, you'll need to lower settings. For a consistent 60+FPS, you'd probably want to be in ~Medium territory in that title. At 2560x1080, V.High or Ultra High should be fine.

Ghost Recon, Ultra at 1440p runs right around 60FPS.

2560x1080 is roughly 75% of the pixel count of 1440p - So again, 60+FPS shouldn;t be a problem at Ultra. Maybe knock it down a level if you wanted to push your framerate higher.
