[SOLVED] Which sata cable is best for a sata-2 desktop?

I have an old sata cable at my home and i want to use it to connect a sata-3 ssd in my Sandy bridge pc.

I don't know the specs of that cable but want to be sure that the ssd works at the max speed (without any bottleneck).

What kind of cable should i get?
Also i wonder if there is any difference between SATA-2 and SATA-3 cable?

The sticker on the cable says:

Sata 2 & 3 are compatible and no difference with the data cable.

The data cable you have should be fine. Where's your motherboard box? Usually they come with some.

Currently i'm using a prebuilt PC, Dell inspiron 620s (2011) and that cable is from my 2007 P4 PC. That motherboard was D946GZ, i believe.

Nexus also covered sata 1 data cables, there's no difference. The difference is with the sata interface controller.
