Which sata do i use? (Asus Z170 Pro Gaming)

Which sata do i use for my os? I read the manual but i do not understand it. Also my os will be on ssd and I will have another HDD

Put in on the lowest number port (Intel) usually port 0. Do not add the second drive until OS is installed.

i think it is 3 because there is no option for 0

********User’s should note that when used in SATA mode, the M.2 port will deactivate SATA port 1.********
Can't use Sata Port 1 one if you use an M2 because when ACTIVE it turns off Sata Port 1.​
