Which set of rads is better?

Which set of rads are better at cooling a 4770k and 2 GTX 780s?

360 XT45 in push + 240 Monsta in push-pull + 120 Monsta in push-pull

Or

360 Monsta in push + 240 UT60 in push-pull

the Monsta are extra thick rads, you'll want push-pull to get proper airflow. therefore I like the first set-up with the 360 XT45 better

I figured the fans on the 360 Monsta in push would have to be running at really high rpm for it to be effective.

it's possible, I honestly can't tell you off the top of my head since I don't have personal experience with the Monsta (and am too tired to do the math/physics to figure it out atm).

at any rate, a high rpm fan would completely destroy the noise benefit of going with water cooling. and you already have the equivalent of a 360 Monsta in the first configuration, the added surface area of the first configuration is actually bigger which would cool your components better (assuming you have enough pump power to run the whole thing)

Are these choices so you can fit it all inside a case, and not overclock any of it?

Because if you have high overclocking intentions of the 4770K in the same loop with the heat generated from the 2 GTX 780s, that's far from enough radiator cooling field.

Just don't want to see you disappointed with the end results.

This is the overclocking section, so if you intend overclocking your 4770K I suggest 2 independent loops with a 240 Monsta cooling the GPUs and a 360 Monsta cooling the overclocked 4770K.

They're for both a bit of overclocking and just about what I can fit in two different cases. The first setup is for a 750D, the second one's for an Arc Mini R2. Held out on the 750D because of it's various issues and figuring out just what can possibly fit in there. Then the Arc Mini R2 caught my attention after looking for an alternative and found out it's possible to cram a 360 Monsta on top because of it's offset mounting holes and a 240 UT60 in front.

The first setup would go

res>pump>cpu>XT45>2 gpu>120 Monsta>240 Monsta>

The second

res>pump>UT60>cpu>Monsta>2 gpu

I've seen that video and several others from computex. It's what inspired me to look into the Mini R2. And upon searching a bit more I stumbled upon this video http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_2LVSiN36G8 where Lauren crammed a pair of alphacools in her Mini R2. Don't know if it'll effectively cool a 4770K and a pair of 780s though.
