Which should i buy (1060 6bg vs 1070 ti)

should i buy a gtx 1070ti (I have a fx 6300 so it will bottleneck) or buy a 1060 6gb and a ssd (it will proabilly still bottleneck)

What monitor do you have? If you are playing on a 1080p 60hz panel there is no reason to spend more than a 1060 6gb. If you are playing at 144hz or 1440p or higher resolution, then you should look at the 1070ti

Both will be limited to a degree by your CPU. So I would plan on upgrading to a new platform sometime this year.

a gtx1060 would already be past your CPU potential (although a great investment, because you will still get great graphics output). But as suggested, wait till later this year and upgrade fully, or just upgrade to newer nVidia card that is coming this year, a GTX2060 it would be as good as a 1070
