My old Sentey 650w power supply got exploded and i'm now on a market to find a new PSU, I have a AMD Phenom II X4 955 CPU and a RX 580 2048P, a N68-VS3 UCC motherboard, a 512GB and 10GB DDR3 RAM, I found 2 choices on Facebook marketplace, EVGA 650W (non-80 Plus, 52 AMP 12 volt rail) or EVGA 500W (80 Plus white, 40 AMP 12 volt rail), Which should i choose? BTW, they both have the 8-pin PCI-E cable i needed.

Neither. The EVGA W1 and N1 are dirt-cheap, group-regulated units that have no business in any PC with a GPU that requires supplementary power. And if these are the units you're looking at, they look like they're very used, especially the 650W N1, which makes it even worse.

But these are the only options my dad gave to to buy a PSU, I have RX 580 Sapphire and a AMD Phenom II X4 955 CPU, Which should i choose if i don't have more money to buy a better PSU.
