Question Which SSD among these 4 is the best?

Hi,

I have been looking to purchase a new, budget SSD for my gaming PC. I have shortlisted 4 similarly-priced SSDs, which you can see in the image linked below. I would like to know which one of them is the best in terms of quality and reliability.

Samsung 860 Evo is the best because it's got the highest endurance of 150 TBW, while WD Green is rated 80 TBW and Crucial MX 500, 100 TBW.

Hey, thanks for the response. I had no idea about SSD endurance ratings, that they have a predetermined lifetime. I used to think they're more durable than HDDs.
I did some more research about that and I've decided to get the 250GB variant of the 860 EVO. It's available at the same price as the 480GB SSDs that I had earlier shortlisted. I know the EVO will give me almost half the capacity, compared to those, but 150TBW is amazing, and at least I'll be at peace knowing that it's gonna last me probably more than a decade. I'll be leaving Windows installed on my HDD, and will use the SSD to install just games. Gonna order this beast right away!

Good choice, but it's better to use it as the OS drive, otherwise you will not be be able to see the true potential of this beast.

The boot up time, shut down time, sleep, hibernate and app loading times, all depends on the OS drive.

Games you can install on your hard drive without any problem.

There is one more thing that makes this drive superior to the rest others. It comes with a 5 year warranty.

Their Samsung 850 Pro used to come with 10 years warranty but they discontinued it.
