Hey community,

I might get a SSD next week, and can't decide which one to get. Here's the links for the SSDs that i am interested:

240 GB Pyro se: http://www.frys.com/product/6887676?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

240 GB Pyro series: http://www.frys.com/product/6728125?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

240 GB Intel 520 SSD: http://www.frys.com/product/6983427?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

240 GB Corsair Force GT: http://www.frys.com/product/6935707?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

240 GB Corsair Force Series 3: http://www.frys.com/product/6887426?site=sr:SEARCH:MAIN_RSLT_PG

I can't get them online, have to go to stores to get them. Because I don't think my relative will buy it online. Which one is better for the price? Why or why not? And, is it enough to store my operating system, and my games?

Solution
You have a couple of options:

Intel for the warranty and reliability
Corsair force GT for performance
Samsung 830 for reliability

All of these SSD will perform great no matter what.
I don't we know the statistics on that. Just know that some people experienced drive failures due to some of the following such as benchmarking it too many times, SSD came dead on arrival (not working as soon as they got it), improper installations, proper format of the drive, and some others, or the controller may be buggy and was in need of a firmware update. I have not heard or read a case of big brand company's having a high rate failure unless they recalled it.
