[SOLVED] which ssd should I go for kingston A400 240gb vs saegate maxtor Z1 240gb ssd

I am planning to upgrade my laptop Asus X550LD with a budget ssd of 240gb. So I have shortlisted two ssd i.e. kingston a400 and seagate maxtor z1. Both of them are 240gb and are available of 34 usd . I am confused between two . I need your advice in which ssd should i go for.

which model will give better performance and reliability out of the two.

They likely have the same controller and flash as I stated. The A400 launched with 2D/planar TLC, which would be inferior, but chances are it's moved to the same 3D TLC found in the Z1. If this is the case they're effectively the same drive. Unfortunately there's no way to be sure what's in a lot of drives.

Seagate would be my choice, just because i don't like Kingston drives esp the A400 series.
