Hello,
I have two SSDs with me; PNY XLR8 240gb and Crucial M500 240gb that my good friend bought for me on my birthday!
I don't know much about SSD speeds and whatever so which one is the fastest to boot up windows 8.1?
Also, if it'll be awesome if anyone can tell me how I can compare SSDs just incase I have this same problem again :)
Thanks !!

Solution
Both ssd's have the same read speeds (500MB/s) so it doesnt matter on which one you place your OS
When you are considering an SSD look at this specs:
Max Read/Write Speeds
IOPS
Sequential reads (for large files)
4K random reads(for small things like opening web browser)
MTBF(mean time between failure)
Type of NAND flash used (most common is MLC - multi level cell)
If you want to know more about these specs just look online for articales, you will find ton of info.
I could tell you what all those specs are about, but you should read it by yourself for better understanding.
