Which things to consider when Buying a graphics Card

Geforce gtx 960 vs Geforce Gtx 780
Does it mean 960 is better than 780 because of the numbers,or any hidden things that make the price difference?
Do I consider GPU clock or memory clock?

The 780 is a way better card.

The 780 is above the 960 but below the 970 and competes with the 290 from AMD. Given the chance to go with the 780. The GTX 780 and GTX 780ti were part of Nvidias flagship GPUs of their previous generation cards.
