Which to buy gtx 750 Ti or gtx 1050 for my old mobo

I have a Xeon e5472 @3.00ghz, 4 gb ddr2 ram, Asus p5kpl Am/ps pcie x16 v1.1

Both gpus are nearly the same price so which would be best for my mobo

Also my mobo supports only legacy bios pls let me know if the above gpus will work or not

Well, the 1050 will outperform the 750ti in almost any scenario, so i`d say the 1050

It only supports legacy bios and I have heard the Nvidia 1000 series requires a uefi bios

Sorry for a very confusing set of answers, i`m just doing research. and people are saying diffrent things. But it looks like you actually can do it, but i`m not too sure. It`s very confusing. If you want to take a little risk, maybe go for the 1050, as this will give you a very good performance boost, but if you want to be safe, go with the 750 ti.

Core 2 duo, I would say go with the GTX750 or GTX750Ti to be sure. As an alternative I haven't heard as many problems with AMD cards, so something like an RX550 or RX560 would be worth a look.

I think I will go with the gtx 1050 since both are nearly same prices and if it doesn't work I would replace it with a 750 Ti thnx for the help

Btw, another reason i said 1050, there is literally no reason to buy the 1050 instead of the 750ti except for compatabilty. The 1050 and the 750ti is the same price, and he 1050 performs better, so why not buy it, right?

I completely agree on the performance. But you will find a lot of posts about Pascal cards not working in older OEM desktops.

If the return process is simple, go for it.
