[citation][nom]anonme[/nom]"and-suggested-by-everyone Opera doesn't come on par with it."It does not have compression for up to 90% download data saving.'Head in sand'.[/citation]
Dolphin is good, but it lacks a key feature of Opera. Opera is the only browser that is able to wordwrap text in a column when zooming. Also the user agent can be easily set to desktop.
For example looking at tomshardware in full desktop mode you can zoom in and the text wraps to fit the zoomed in scale so you don't have to scroll left right to read a sentence. I haven't found another mobile browser that can do this.

Yes, this is exactly why I'm sticking with Opera for now. Tried Dolphin and stock Browser after reading this review, and the first thing i check is the text "reflow" or "rearrange" feature. Even though it seems to be enabled in both Dolphin and Browser, nothing happens. That's an essential feature for me.

I am running Cortex A8 on LG P700 and Opera Mini was the only browser to be fluent compared to stock, Chrome and Firefox. Maybe fluency on low-end devices should have been considered as well...

Shouldn't tne #1 metrics be fluidity once a page is loaded, standards compliance, security compliance?

These are the things that matter to me the most by far. If the aplication takes a half second longer to load it, or a 1/10th of a second longer to load a page, it doesn't matter. Sure all things else being equal more speed is good, but they are way way down the list from the above 3 areas.

If you rate by responsiveness, security, and standards compliance, the things that matter, the list is very different then the conculsion....

Finally we have the Android WBGP. Because I don't have a tablet, my comment is for my Nexus S. So... haven't tried Dolphin yet but Chrome sucks and I only use it because I use Chrome on my Windows 7 laptop. I wanted to use the Android Browser because it's way better and with the Labs fullscreen and quick controls, it's awesome. Sadly, the sync doesn't work for some reason so now I'm stuck with Chrome. I like Opera but sometimes it redirects me to a WAP website that looks old. Firefox had the problem that it used to redirect me to the desktop view but I think it's fine now (redirects to the mobile version).

Hope to see Android joining the group with Windows, Mac and Ubuntu (Linux). Hope to see more stuff soon.

P.S. I have a suggestion... Why not take this to another level and check a browser performance in different systems? Like having a "Web Browser Grand Prix: Chrome" and test this browser in all the different platforms and see in which one the browser is "better". It would be cool to see Opera, Firefox and Chrome in this situation.

P.P.S. In Android you can check the memory so I wonder if there's a way to measure this as well. I think you can't do it without a third-party app because the browser will cache instead of running on the background.

I used Maxthon for a while, but some updates added shortcuts I didn't want and couldn't remove. I use Boat right now, and I really like it. I tried Dolphin, but it felt too cluttered. To much going on.

I've been using the dolphin browser on my galaxy note 10.1 every since I got the device.. I have tried other browsers, but I find dolphins bookmarks easily accessible. And the always on view desktop is a great feature. Unlike Firefoxs view desktop site, tends to shut itself off from time to time
