Which windows 7 version should I buy?

if possible I want 64 bit of windows 7... but I just want to know which windows 7 should I buy?

what I plan to do is gaming + a little video editting...

I have:

i7-2600
8gb memory
1gb Twin frozr II
1.5 tb HDD

The cheapest one, as it costs only the difference to perform any Anytime Upgrade.

Unless you mean 64-bit or 32-bit, in which case I think you already know the answer (8GB RAM).

hi there. im running similar stats to you. intel core i7 2600k 16gb ram and im running windows professional (x64). with 8gb of ram you can run the 64 bit system. believe it or not the 64 bit system is cheaper than the 32! (only a little) but it is go for professional or ultimate. but bear in mind ultimate is £30 more.

Windows 7 Home Premium x64 should suit 99% of all home users, the except would be those with 3GB of ram or less who should use Windows 7 Home Premium x86.

any of them which are 64bit will do you fine really. unless you want the additional security of ultimate (bitlocker etc) then there is really no need to pay extra for it. so anything from home premium upwards will be fine for your uses
