which would perform better in gaming? an i7 6700 with a b150 board or an r7 1700 with a b350 board?

so there isn't any massive difference in gaming among the 2 then? which would u recommend me? the prices here are exactly the same

I would go for the R7-1700 as it covers all your needs for the PC. But, as it is a newly-released platform, I would expect some bugs here and updating BIOS there for quite a while until it stabilizes (unlike the Intel i7-6700 which has been around for quite some time now).

yup those bugs and stability issues are keeping me off from R7-1700 . for now i'll wait for some updated benchmarks and make my pick . anyway thanks for the reply
