While installing windows 8.1p, Compatibility report?

Hello, I just finished building my new pc and I am trying to install windows on to it with a usb. Everything is fine until after i enter my code.

"The computer started using Windows Installation media. Remove the installation media and restart your computer so that Windows starts normally. Then, insert the installation media and restart the upgrade. [DO not select !custom [advanced] to perform an upgrade. !custom advance installs a new copy of Windows and deletes your programs and settings/

I have seen the other thread that asks the same thing and i tried the solution offered. I tried installing windows 8 first instead of windows 8.1 but i still got the same message. Any help would be helpful, thanks.

yes they are legitimate product keys

Got help from microcenter tech support and they helped with my problem. All i needed to do was just click custom install and use that rather than using the regular install and it worked
