Question White CPU light illuminating when PC boots up ?

I just bought an MSI B550 Gaming Plus motherboard and a Ryzen 5 5600X to upgrade my gaming PC. Now when I boot it up a white CPU light glows on the motherboard and the computer does not display any picture. I also have 4 Corsair vengeance RAM sticks installed as well as a RTX 3060ti and a EVGA 700b 800 bronze grade power supply. Ive looked at countless fixes for this issue but none seem to work. Any help would be appreciated.

Try starting the system with a single stick of memory installed. Also, verify that your display/monitor is connected to your GPU and not one of your motherboard's video ports.

I tried the one stick of RAM boot yesterday and nothing came of it. I guess no harm in trying again thought. And for the display, yes it is connected to the GPU

Yes the CPU is brand new. Bought from Best Buy yesterday

Previously I had a Ryzen 5 2600 in a MSI x470 gaming plus motherboard

Seems the 2600 isn't compatible with your new mobo, but the new CPU would work in the old motherboard with a BIOS update. Do you still have the old components?
