White or black version of this case?

Since you went with the white on your case link, did a white themed build

CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor ($329.88 @ OutletPC)

CPU is overclockable ... not mandatory but option is there when and if you want to. Makes sense since you have overclockable Mobo and a cooler. A 3rd party cooler on a non k series processor is serves no purpose. Also, if you ever sell the PC, will be worth $100 more on resale

CPU Cooler: Phanteks PH-TC14PE 78.1 CFM CPU Cooler ($74.99 @ Newegg)
Much better cooler and heat sink and fans are white to match case build

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 ATX LGA1151...

Aesthetics is a very personal decision ... kinda like asking what's the best tasting vegetable or who is the prettiest actress. Really doesn't matter what we think , we don't have to look at it every day. It's not a case I would use or recommend to someone we were building for.

As for the build...

1. What is the purpose of the cooler when the CPU can not be overclocked ?

2. Same for the Z170 MoBo.... why spring for Z170 w/a non k procecessor

3. The FE cards should be avoided.... every FE card throttles.

4. Again, the PSU can only do a single card, The reason you get Z170 is you are going to overclock the CPU or want the option of SLI. You don't have a K series processor or a PSU big enough for SLI.

5. Case fits 6 fans, comes with 3 (120mm) and ya bought 5 ?

I would recommend strongly against the Asus Z-170A .... to pay $168 (newegg) for a MoBo that cheaps out on the on board components such as the substandard ALC 892 Sound codec. Competitors offer ALC 1150 down into the $75 category.

I'll try and put together an alternate recommendation in a subsequent post

Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z170X-Gaming 7 ATX LGA1151 Motherboard ($163.98 @ Newegg)
Best MoBo under $200 ... has ALC 1150

Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2666 Memory ($91.99 @ Jet)
Faster than what you had, cheaper and also in white

Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 1TB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($309.99 @ Amazon)
No chnage

Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 1070 8GB Dual Series Video Card ($399.99 @ Newegg)
Doesn't suffer from deficient cooler design better stock clocks, also white to match build color theme

Case: Phanteks Enthoo Luxe ATX Full Tower Case ($176.98 @ Newegg)
Better quality case with extra case features such as built in fan controller, built in exterior LED, built in LED controller allows you to simply "plug in" led strip and choose among 10 colors where exterior and interior lighting is matching. I think the "aggressive" design of the HBT will "get old" so offering this as consideration. Will save ya about $80 if ya get the one you linked

Power Supply: EVGA SuperNOVA G2 650W 80+ Gold Certified Fully-Modular ATX Power Supply ($102.24 @ Amazon)
No change but and extra 100 watts would let you go SLI at some point on the future should you so choose

Operating System: Microsoft Windows 10 Home Full - USB 32/64-bit ($109.98 @ B&H)
No Change

Wireless Network Adapter: Asus PCE-AC68 PCI-Express x1 802.11a/b/g/n/ac Wi-Fi Adapter ($101.72 @ Amazon)
No chnage but I'd highly recommend abandoning wifi and using a hard wired cable, especially if gaming.

Case Fan: Phanteks PH-F140SP_BK 82.1 CFM 140mm Fan ($16.98 @ Newegg)
Case Fan: Phanteks PH-F140SP_BK 82.1 CFM 140mm Fan ($16.98 @ Newegg)
The case comes with 3 of the best fans on the market, added two more as i assumed you were buying 5 to replace the 3 fans case came with + 2 more. These are larger / quieter fans and according to silentpcreview.com and other sources have the best performance/ noise ration available. The case comes with a built in fan controller which can control up to 11 of of these.

Other: Phanteks Multi-Color LED Strips 1 Meter Enthoo Luxe Case Upgrade (PH-LEDKT_M1) ($15.98 @ Newegg)
This 10 color RGB interior lighting strip plugs into the case's built in LED controller, you can turn On or OFF as well as select up to 10 colors as your mood dictates. Again, as you select colors, bith interior and exterior lighting will be color matched.

Other: UPS ($140.00)
