White Screening when playing games

So i was gonna play league of legends, I got into a game, loaded up but as soon as i was gonna enter the game, the screen turned black, then white, there was a glitchy sound and then i had to force turn off my Pc. I tried to rejoin the game but the same thing happened. I tried taking out the GPU then putting it back in, unplugging and re plugging some of the cables in my MOBO, tried to repair the client, used the hextech repair tool and even system restored. This problem also happened in Overwatch. So I dont think its my games problem, I think it's something to do with my hardware. Please help. Thanks

I just reset my entire computer(cleaning everything), and it still happens Rip me.

CPU: i5-7400
GPU: GTX 1050 2gb
MOBO: B250M-D3H
RAM: 8gb
PSU: Thermaltake 500w
1x SSD
1x HDD
Started happening on the 29/10/18

Try the onboard graphics by disabling the dedicated graphics in bios and see if the crashing is stopped. That way we may see whether the error is on the gpu side or not (could be psu too)

Yeah i tried plugging into the onboard graphics but didnt know you had to disable the gpu lol. And how do you access the BIOS

Ok i got the integrated graphics to work AND LEAGUE WORKS NOW. Ok somethings up with my 1050 then. Thank you soo much Tolis!

Does anyone know why my GPU could be white screening my pc?

It could be your psu not being able to handle the load when using the dedicated graphics card. If this thermaltake is the budget line of products, it would make sense. You ll have to either try another reliable psu or plug your gpu into another system and see if the error is reproduced.
