Who mades SilentiumPC PSUs?

Hey, hello community, i have a question, who mades SilentiumPC PSUs? Or quality of their models. They're looking really good but i don't want to buy Eurocase in the poke(some cringe jokes included)

Hard to tell but Sirfa/Sirtec seems to be the OEM for the few I can find info on.

You should try and find reviews of the specific model you're looking at.

some cheaper/older models are made by SAMA :
a chinesse manufacturer i never really heard of : http://sama.ltd/%e9%97%9c%e6%96%bc%e6%88%91%e5%80%91/

i would avoid them if possible .

sirtec as a manufacturer inspires much more confidence but still : there are just better options on the market .

They only used SAMA and Sirfa so far, both great manufacturers with lots of experience and many high-end platforms to choose from.

Quality depends on the particular model, but every current SilentiumPC unit is good for the money. Vero L2 and Vero M2 offer independent voltage regulation with LLC resonant topology for a low price, while Supremo L2 is a very cheap, good performing Gold.

Ok, i'm looking for a bulid with Corsair TX550M or Seasonic Focus Plus Gold 550W but when i was scrolling down the page with PSUs in the e-shop, i found SilentiumPC PSUs and i was really interested because they make really good stuff and i was wondering about the price - it's very cheap, their PSU Supremo M2 is today about 68$ and Seasonic Focus for 113$

I don't see such a huge difference in price on Morele or X-kom. Which store are you using?

I'm not from the US, I'm from centre of Central Europe . I am using CzechComputer.cz, Mironet.cz and some similar czech e-shops.

From the rail specs its an older group regulated design though

The main issue here to me is price.

A cx550m is less.

I'm looking for some PSU with 80+ Gold, so TX550M is best choice for me because price of it just two hours ago jumped down to 89$

If the price difference isn't big, then get the TX550M like you said. It has 2 extra years of warranty and will last a little longer too.

I understand you wanting a gold rated unit.

However a gold rating in itself is not a true indication of actual quality.

Id rather take a well reviewed , known good quality bronze unit over an unknown gold rated one like the silentium.

Irregardless , take the tx550m if its in budget.
Its a known 'good quality psu' full stop.

can you post some of those "many high end platforms" made by SAMA ?
because i for sure can´t think of any high end consumer PSU made by this company .

^ the forza titanium are 'ok' - & that's about the best unit they've made as far as I know.

There are at least 100 other brandes models that are better for similar or less money though.

I couldn't think of a single reason to buy one.

I have Supremo L2 for over a year now, it's silent and does not make any problems all. Sure it probably will not last as long as Seasonic, but then it costs much less.
