I was just saying earlier that I had yet to find a Vipermagi. Later, I join
a Hell game, just to play and help whomever get through act 1. I very
rarely join public games. But today I did, and I was rewarded. When we
finally got around to killing Andi, she dropped green demonhide boots, and
since I collect sets, and did not yet have the Rite of Passage boots, this
was cool. We left the game, and I started a hell game for myself (private)
to do an Andi run, and maybe some other runs, but not using my MF gear,
since that seriously weakens both my sorceress and mercenary. The MF setup
does, however, get a fairly respectable +625%, for a merc kill, and nearly
+450% solo (if I could only find some Ists...). But again, I'm not using
it. I'm not carrying as much as an MF small charm.
Well, Andi drops a gold serpentskin armor, and a gold ring. I'm saying, No
way. So there's my Vipermagi, and a better MF Nagelring than I already had
(23%). I'm feeling like this was worth the time.
I decide to do a quick Meph run in Hell. Meph drops a gold wire fleece...
I'm definitely saying no way, now. Okay, so what is Gladiator's Bane worth
(1486 defense)? I don't think I'm trading this. My sorceress can actually
wear this, once she reaches level 85. She's 82, now.
