[SOLVED] Whole screen goes grey then tells me to restart (mac)

Hey Everyone,

About an hour ago my old mac had what I think is a Kernel Panic, but instead of the message telling me to restart my computer being over the entire screen it was very small and in a Firefox about:blank window and was of very bad quality. Also the entire system froze.

Malware or not, it's already triggered, hopefully nothing fatal. Start to monitor for freezes and sudden surge of activities when you are not doing anything. Worse come to worst, you may have to run a scanner (time consuming) and/or re-install clean OS.
