Question Whole system doesn't work while Gpu is plugged

I recently bought a new CPU. The system worked fine when I tested it, but when i plugged the GPU in, everything stopped working. No fans, no LEDs. When I unplug my GPU, it works again.
What's the problem?

Typically one of two things:

1. The display is still connected to the motherboard output and needs to be connected to the graphics card output.
2. Your power supply is insufficient to power the system with the new graphics card installed.

Now the GPU works but after 5 seconds I power the system on, pnly the GPU fans stop working, the whole system works.

Plug the monitor cable into the GPU.

no signal, neither the motherboard gives signal. the gpu's fans turn on for a second and then turn off.

i plugged back in another gpu. could it be burned? i dont think so because it turns on for a split second
