[SOLVED] Why am I getting sudden FPS drop in Minecraft ?

Hey i recently got a new laptop as an early birthday present

I wanted to play Minecraft on it,

the first time I ran it I got a smooth 280 fps with no shaders or resource pack,
When i installed BSL and NAPP I got 120fps. Now I get 40 max,
I don't know whats going on so could someone help ?

my specs:

i7 9750H
GTX 1660ti with 6GB of VRAM
16GB of RAM

reset pc, people have had this problem with gtx gpus for some reason
