Why am I not getting performance gains?

Just recently overclocked my i9 9900k to 5ghz on all cores but i'm not getting any better performance in cinebench. Am I doing something wrong or is this normal?

The i9 9900k already has a turbo boost of 5ghz, so it would have been running at 5ghz when benchmarked anyways.

Alright, Just used the AI overclock feature from ASUS. So now i'm running 3 cores at 5ghz and the rest at 4.8 and somehow i'm now getting even worse Cinebench scores than when it was stock... Got 1830 and at stock i got 2000
