Question Why am I stuck at 60 FPS with a 144hz monitor?

Originally I was running at 144hz until I decided to uninstall Precision XOC because I had downloaded Precision X1 recently. When I did this I went into safe mode to turn it off because it was "always running" and it reset my computer. My account changed back to whatever synced account it could find and my FPS in all games dropped to 60 FPS. What did I do when I entered safe mode and why did it revert to 60FPS? I have checked Nvidia Control Panel, Geforce, my monitor, the advanced display properties, and the games themselves to make sure they stay at 144hz and they do, but my game-play is noticeably 60 FPS as the FPS counters read.

are you saying that your monitor is stuck in 60hz or your games are stuck in 60 frames? if is the hz you can try to change in the NVCP, Display > Change Resolution > Refresh Rate, set to 144Hz.
