Question Why are my desktop icons so massive

my desktop icons are massive. like, extra massive. like, I have three monitors and not even one full icon shows up between the three of them. If I can figure out how to add a pic I will.

have you tried right clicking desktop and using smaller size? Yes, I know, sounds obvious but just curious.

holding ctrl and scrolling mouse wheel changes icon size, so maybe try that?

take a screenshot,
upload image to IMGUR,
use the Insert Picture(Ctrl+P) option and add link to image.

I can indeed change the size of them like this, but they shrunk into to a land far off my screen. Ill reboot and see if that fixes it. Thanks for the suggestions so far everyone

scrolling up & down resizes them, so if they too small, scroll other way.

Actually they only shrink so much, now it only takes up 2 screens, but its way at the top of the screen.

Thanks for that. Annoying to have to upload there first but what can I do. So if you look along the top of the image, you can see the highlght of the folder

the first image you see in Imgur is a gallery, but if you right click image and pick open in new tab you get the actual jpg.
The picture insert thing here only works with jpg but as you found, it will convert the links into images anyway. Only difference is scale can be bigger as an insert

@Mandark the highlighting is more obvious if you look at image on imgur or click my image above. Its along top of screen.
Its like the screensize is wrong
