Why are my games lagging?

Hello people,
I have a question why are my games lagging (more specifically multiplayer games) if my PC has all what does it take to run these games. And my Internet connection is good.
I did GPU and CPU stress tests and they both were not overheating.
Please help.

Is it laggy in the sense that the entire screen laggs or is it laggy as in enemy's your trying to shoot are bouncing up and down and side to side a little?

It could be a routing issue from your isp to game server, also if your are running any bittorents on your network it WILL lag , are you running wireless or wired?.

Sounds like a graphics glitch to me.

Have you tried reinstalling the game(s)? And reinstalling/updating the graphics driver?

Well I have updated my graphics drivers. BUt I haven't tried reinstalling any of the games. (Can the trouble be caused because I installed them on D disk?)
