I recently acquired a new system.

AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D (watercool by)
ProArtist UA360 AIO (top mounted)
Powercolour HellBound RX 9070 XT
32 GB 6000 DDR5 RAM
MSI MAG B850M Motar WiFi motherboard
2TB NVMe SSD
GTR Plus 1000M Platinum PSU
MSI MAG Forge 320L case with 1x120 intake fan at rear, & 2x120 intake fans at front

I just don't understand why my Sony WH-1000XM4 connected to the bluetooth of this MSI motherboard is so choppy!!! Not only that, if I go to the toilet which is just next room, i.e. one 100mm thick wall between the 2 rooms. I will lose all sound as if the headphone never connect to the PC. Now here is the weirdest thing. The bluetooth on this MSI motherboard is 5.4. I have an ASUS gaming laptop of which the bluetooth is 5.3. If I connect my headphone to this laptop via bluetooth, the sound never cut off!!! Is it because of the casing of my PC? I have noticed that if I am searching something on some online shopping site using my Samsung mobile, the sound starts to stutter whenever I click the search button. This suggests that the bluetooth chipset is of low quality. So, should I go out and purchase a bluetooth dongle? I can see that bluetooth 6 dongle is now available. It's tempting to get bluetooth 6...

Any suggestion? Many thanks in advance for your help.

Regards,
Alex

Are your wireless antennas connected to the connectors at the back of the motherboard?
Hi, Thankyou very much for your response. Wireless antennas? Yes, there is an antennas coming with the motherboard but I have checked the specs and the manual. The two holes (connectors) at the back of the motherboard are for WiFi and so is the antenna. There is no connection for bluetooth at all. Are you suggesting that the WiFi antenna also works for bluetooth? The motherboard manual has no mention of such facility but I will entertain the idea and let you know the outcome.

Well, I have to apologize for wasting your time. And yes, after installing the WiFi antenna, my Sony headphone works wonderfully well, even in the bathroom next door and the kitchen which is about 8 to 10m away. And it works even better than the laptop bluetooth 5.3. But I never would expect a WiFi antenna works for the bluetooth connection as well. But thank you for your help. Thank you. Jee, I lived in my own small world. Got to get out for a little walk...
