Why can my B250M Pro-VDH mother board overclock?

For some reason it has an overclocking option altho I have no plan overclocking, can someone explain why it has an overclock option?

The B250 chipset motherboards when equipped with an overclockable processor can overclock the processor so that's why the overclocking option is there.
In simple words, if you have a 'K' i3/i5/i7 Processor on this motherboard, you can overclock.
