[SOLVED] Why can't I find a rx 5700

I'm looking for a GPU for my Mac and from what I've worked out the RX 5700 would be perfect (the 5700xt is a bit too pricy). But I can't seem to find one new or second hand. Any one know why or where I can get one? (Would love NVIDIA but tough to get it to install)

Solution
Yep late to the party it seems. This virus is really starting to piss me off. I found some 5700xt on Amazon for $900 it's a joke. I'm going to have to stick to oil painting for a bit. Any ideas when this might all right itself and what are AMD/NVIDIA saying about it?

AMD has mentioned they're trying to bring in Samsung to help them produce more cards, so as I wrote initially July might be when things start to normalize a little, but don't take my word for it, anything can happen in these crappy corona times. Nvidia claims "they want to get cards into the hands of their consumers" but frankly I don't see them doing much about it, rather the opposite, they're releasing like 3 more different model cards to the market. Honestly...
Oh ho hoooo.. Welcome to the club buddy, you're really late. With coronavirus causing a world wide supply shortage of certain electronic components, as well as scalpers scooping everything from GPU's to game consoles off the market, good luck trying to find a graphics card for the next few months at retail price. We're all in this mess and you have scalpers for the most part to blame. July is the best bet for when you can start getting cards normally again, for now they're about 3x the price on ebay and other auction sites.

When supply and demand evens out. I don't see the light at the end of the tunnel.
Even worse, GPU msrp prices might go up since VRAM prices are rising.
The GPU situation is so bad that even 4 year old GPUs like the RX 580 are selling for twice the price of a year ago.
Agreed, the situation is so bad right now that I had to resort to buying an Alienware desktop build with a 5800X and an RX 6800 XT. It's tough if not impossible to find any of the latest CPU/GPU without running into an "out of stock" on the retailer's website or having to pay a scalper.

Covid has broken supply chains so the supply issue is going to be spotty for quite some time. But hey, i'm sure the builders like Alienware, iBuyPower and the other builders are loving it right now.

Honestly should just focus on getting the ones they have now to people but hey, if everyone has a 3070/3080, no one's gonna buy there new 3060.
