Why do I always crash when playing DirectX 11 games?

So I have a Lenovo y410p laptop which I got a little over a year ago (so the warranty is gone). The games I usually play are all in DirectX 9, so I never really noticed this problem until a few weeks ago when I tried to play a game in DX11. The game kept crashing and crashing, and would only run stable when I tried it in DX9. So I tried it out with some other games, and they all crashed while using DX11 (but not DX9.). If anyone has any idea on what this might be, it would be most appreciated. As of now, I've tried restoring my computer to its original point, and an entire OS wipe, as well as updating all drivers and stuff. Thanks.

What windows version are you running? If you have Windows 8 or 8.1 64 bit try the following driver, after uninstalling the drivers using Display driver uninstaller.

Your GPU supports directX 11.1 so that shouldn't be an issue.
