I think it started doing this when I switched to the DuckDuckGo search engine awhile back--but I just dealt with this time consuming process over and over again on a daily basis...

I've had enough and would like to get the fix here.

Thanks as always for your excellent help and support!

Check your browser settings. If you have enabled the removal of cookies every time you close the browser, it logs you out from most (if not all) sites you've logged in. Also, many browsers can store the usr and psw in them, so you don't have to retype usr/psw every time.

DuckDuckGo is just a search engine (which claims to be anonymous, but actually isn't) and one webpage doesn't have a control over your entire browser and other web pages.

I went into settings and got "make Google Chrome the default browser" ( I thought I was using Chrome already). I click on it and it goes to another page that shows that MS Edge is my default browser-- I get back and it again reads, "make Google Chrome the default browser"--- What's is going on? Thx!

On Win10 (should apply to Win11 too);
Settings - Apps - Default Apps. Scroll down and look which browser is put for "Web browser". If it's Edge, switch it to Chrome.

My default browser is Firefox and i do have Chrome as well. Now, i don't have Edge anymore since i completely uninstalled it (people who live in Europe can do that, other folks outside of Europe - out of luck). Due to that, i can't validate it myself.
