are most games delayed or few ??

Short answer = PC porting.
Most of the games are codded for consoles thus it requires additional job to "translate" the game code to work on PC's.
There is also additional aspect of piracy... which is much harder over the consoles. They just want to drain as much cash as possible before game will be available as a "freebie" PC versions.

are most games delayed or few?

That depends on the game developers

on an average how many developers do that (just guesses)?

most of the PC games get delayed,,around 60-70%

but someone told me only few games are delayed like gta or dead rising so what is true story?

Why doest it matter, are you writing a game release analysis report?
Some are, some aren't ... it mostly depends of the developers and publishers wish. Some may have real reasons behind it some may be only marketing trolling... there is no way to deduct proper answer.

i dint know u meant delayed by that margin

i meant delayed by a month or something,,and i went a tad overboard saying its 60-70%,,,its less than that,,,,i dint know you were talking about GTA V,,,there are few games which get delayed over a year

this time i m not talking about gta series on general how much time it would take to release game on pc after consoles and on general how many developers are to release game later on pc

As i said earlier, that really does depend on the game developers,,as another guy said earlier in this forum,,,porting a game to a PC requires a lot of time,,,some developers dont even a plan for a pc release from the beginning,,sometimes they see how their games perform on consoles and then they may want to do a pc port,,,so it really depends on the developers,,,there is no fixed time for it

Generally speaking, developers sort the release date according to region not platform. Some common egs like BF4, FC3, Crysis 3, WD, FIFA 15, CoD Ghosts released all the major platform versions (excluding PS4 and Xbox One largly) in a couple of couple of days and at max a couple weeks.

Dev generally do this to allow each platform product to take its position w/o a rush. Devs seldom code the game after releasing a version, but its not totally unheard of too, we're awaiting GTA 5, which was released an year ago on other platforms, there are many reasons for delay, research a bit and you'll know why.

Surely, there's no single answer to 'why', but for a brief explaination, its just to allow each product to have its space, and the other major release date gap is due to region.
