Question Why does blizzard slow down my internet speed?

Every time I download Blizzard to play COD modern warfare it slows my internet speed from 320 mbs to around 10 mbs.
Any ideas folks?
Wish they had stayed with Steam!!!

I use Blizzard and have no such experience.

What slows down, the entire internet or just Blizzard for downloading games?

How are you measuring your internet speed? Is battlenet running while you're checking? Are you sure it's not just that battlenet is downloading updates or whatnot, and using up your bandwidth?

My internet slows down. Measuring with speedtest.net. I uninstalled battlenet and my internet speed went back up.
I have reinstalled battlenet and my internet speed has gone and it has taken me two days to reinstall COD Modern Warfare. Really not sure what is going on.
Battlenet is not running when I speed check.
