I have discovered that when I want to clean cookies with Ccleaner, there are cookies in it that are not visible in the Firefox cookie settings.
Does anyone know why this is so?

Ccleaner shows cookies from all web browsers, not just Firefox.
So you may have used a different web browser sometime in the past.
No, I only use FF. There are websites that i visit, and no cookie is saved in Firefox .
But when I look into CCleaner, the cookie is in it.

Not sure about what to suggest.

Wondering:

"and no cookie is saved in Firefox ."

How do you know or otherwise determine that the cookies are not being saved in Firefox?

Just playing "devil's advocate":

If any given website wants to save cookies then what prevent that website from putting the cookies in Firefox?

And next time you log into that website it knows to look in Firefox.

Interesting/curious.....

The key, I think, is what those websites are. Links?
