Hi, I noticed that when I have a few tabs open in chrome, it uses up quite a bit of memeory. Now there are multiple processes named google chrome, I assume each process represents a tab. Each one uses up to 150 mb of ram! Is this the reason chrome rarely crashes? It treats each tab as a individual program, but the trade off is more resources consumed?

Solution
the advantage is just as you said, each tab is like a seperate process. So when one tab fails, all the other continue to function normally.
