Hi,
So I bought myself an Msi gl65 laptop and then bought a 1440p 75hz ips display. I bought a Cable Matters mini display port to display cable to pair them together. However, when I set my laptop to display only on the monitor there seems to be a TON of input lag (blurring as well when opening tabs or watching yt) or something. However, when set to Extend in windows display settings, it looks very smooth. Problem is that on Extend mode Windows says the resolution is only 1080p and I can't go higher. Thus my hesitation of using Extend. Additionally, it actually looks like 1440p on the monitor as it looks just as sharp. I made sure in both cases it was running at 75hz in Nvidia Control Panel. Anyways wondering what the source of the issue is or why this is happening, in the meantime, Extend will be setting I use.
