Hello, I have an r7 250 1 GB ddr5 graphics . So it plays FIFA 15 at 59 FPS . But from today , suddenly i am noticing that the FPS goes down to 29 FPS , after 20 mins of smooth playing. After I restarted my PC , It happened after 20 - 25 mins again .
The last time I had this problem , it was due to overheating of CPU, as my PSU was not working.
But the PSU was very old. So I got a second hand PSU and also bought a brand new one . The second hand PSU was relatively newer to my old PSU.

SO my questions is that if this is being caused by this PSU .? If yes should I install the new one

I should have told this before but , the thing is that I see the temp of the CPU is rising to 111 C this time . But in the ASUS Bios , it does not show danger level signs . But the last time it happened , it showed with a red bar that my CPU was overheated .

Please PLEASE help me out !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

PSU is a power supply. Did you actually mean that you replaced the fan on the CPU, or you replaced the power supply and added a second one, to deal with overheating, which doesn't make sense?

If your CPU is actually that hot, it is likely throttling itself, and would be a very logical reason for why your FPS is suddenly going down.

Possibly, do you have another psu to test? Also you may want to try to reapply the thermal paste and reseat the stock cooler and if that doesn't work then get a aftermarket cooler but realistically the intel stock cooler should be enough.

I have a PSU to test . But I looked inside and saw that my CPU fan and PSU are both working. Besides I live in Calcutta India , where today the temperature is about 37 C . So Could this also be a cause . As for the Paste I will have to go to the market . That is not possible until Friday , as I have Physics lectures everyday . I actually am looking for a quick action .

Ambient temperature can be a big issue. 37°C is a very warm environment to be running any PC in. Your likely solution is to purchase a larger heat sink and cooler for your CPU. Just because the one you have now is functioning, doesn't mean it has the capacity to deal with the heat of both your processor and environment.

I replaced my PSU with a brand new one , of 450 W . But still there is no solution.
I saw the temperatures ,
CPU - 49 - 50 C
GPU - Max 80 C
Even after playing FIFA 15 for an hour .
The temperatures does not rise , but the FPS goes down.
After I restart the PC , the games run smooth for approx. 15 mins , then the FPS goes down. For FIFA 15 it goes down from 59 - 30 .
What is causing this . PLEASE Help .

The gpu temp is a bit warm but neither should be causing throttling at those temps if there accurate. At this point I would go through your programs and make sure that nothing is trying to update or your antivirus isn't scanning while your playing. Also make sure your Bios/drivers are up to date as well.
