[SOLVED] Why does my game just close?

Im trying to run Madden NFL 20 on a potato, and it just closes. i5 3470. 8GB RAM. iGPU. It will boot and then just close about 5 seconds later. Is it because its searching for a dedicated GPU and cant find it or whats the issue? Windows 10 install is fairly new

With just the integrated HD 2500 graphics, you're a galaxy away from the minimum system requirements.

Thats what I thought. But I also ran BO3 (which is far more demanding) on this potato.... only at 15FPS minimum settings 400x300.... but nonetheless it ran.... but madden 20 wont even boot nevermind 15FPS @ 400x300

The GPU requirements for Black Ops III are lower than Madden 20. You also can't expect all software to act similarly to each other in such extreme situations. Just because one game will allow you to putter around at a frightening 15 FPS at 400x300 doesn't mean other games will.

Ok and you're probably right. But can I be sure that this is the cause of the game closing rather than something else??

If something is wrong in your PC, you'd have to see it in a game that can run, not in a game that you can't.
