Question Why does my monitor randomly enter "Sleep Mode" ?

Hello - It started with random computer reboots, and I found that the GPU fans were not firing up, causing overheating and system crashing. I swapped out the GPU and now the fans are working as expected, but my monitor randomly goes to a black screen and I have to force reboot the computer in order for the monitor to come back on.

I have tried multiple HDMI cables, and below is the CPU-Z info - please let me know what else is needed to resolve this.

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You could've listed your specs like so:
CPU:
CPU cooler:
Motherboard:
Ram:
SSD/HDD:
GPU:
PSU:
Chassis:
OS:
Monitor:
include the age of the PSU apart from it's make and model. BIOS version for your motherboard at this moment of time.

You're on BIOS version 7C56vA5, you have BIOS versions pending update. Flash the BIOS to version 7C56vAJ. Clear the CMOS and see if the issue persists.

I swapped out the GPU and now the fans are working as expected
Please elaborate. Did you replace with the same GPU or another make and model?

Try reseating GPU and updating its driver to latest
Check gpu temp randomly using some portable apps like HWMonitorPro
For the CPU-Z info , try snipping mainboard, graphics tabs and upload to imgur

That appears to be a Nvidia 1660 video card.
Down the Nvidia 566.36 driver.
Uninstall drivers in safe made with DDU.
Reboot to windows and install driver.
Right click the file you downloaded and choose "run as administrator".
It is a bug in the drivers for the new 50xx series cards that causes this on some older video cards.
It affects my 4070 system but not my 3060ti system.

Followed the above steps and installed the specified driver, and issue still persists

Windows power management is set to never turn off the display ?

One of my computers have this problen but 2 others do not.
When it loses signal I have to restart from case button or unplug HDMI cable and plug it back in.
I tried the hdmi trick last week and it worked for me.
The older drivers have not completely eliminated it but it happens much less often. And it has fixed it for many other people.
Still looking for a solution myself.
