Question Why does my pc crash and instantly restart itself when playing more demanding games? (e.g. higher graphics settings)

So i've had my pc since 2013, i unfortunately have to admit that I brought it pre-build off of amazon, i know, a real sin. But i had no idea at that point.
Since 2013 i haven't changed any hardware at all, i've been playing less demanding games like dota 2, and tf2, valve products. As my pc couldn't run any other games without the fps dropping to 5 or something ridiculous. It had integrated graphics.
Last year i experienced the occasional pc crash and instant restart which playing dota. There were no graphics issues, the game was playing smoothly, it just died and restarted. It only happened occasionally, i thought it was a cooling problem so i dusted it all out. Didn't help too much but did the job for then. I've recently brought a Sappire Rx570 gpu so i can finally play some good games. Put my graphics card in, got new drivers, boot up shadow of mordor and put the graphics up to max. Played beautifully for 10 minutes and then restart itself again. Tried another game, "Shadow tactics blade of the shogun" (which had no crashing problems before) put the graphics up, crashes after 5 minutes. These games aren't crashing on the menu, i left one on the menu for 30 minutes to test it and it wouldn't crash. I'm guessing it is a problem with power demand and the power supply failing when graphics card need more juice from it? I reall have no idea, i played Nier Automata, sometimes it plays for 20 minutes without crashing, sometimes 5. It is random but never above 20 minutes. Please can someone give me any ideas please of where to start? I do suspect power supply as it is 6 year old now and a bad brand xD

Hi, do you know what PSU your machine has? Often these pre built machines skimp out on the power supply. A poor quality PSU could certainly cause your machine to crash / reset...

I also notice that the cpu temp is pretty high in the spec report you linked so you might need to look at improving your cooling.

Hi!
And yeah it is a 500w Chinese make one. Called I-Arena, or something like that. Didn't even have a 6 and an 8 pin PCIe cable, just one 6 so I had to get a splitter to connect my gpu in.
And yeah still got the stock cooling 😬
So would you suggest power supply first?
Or safer to just get both at the same time (new power supply and fans), its just im not loaded with money.
