Hi
So i bought a new pc and everything was fine until a week ago when i touched the top of the case and then my pc turned on.
That happens to me sometimes when i touch the top of the case, but i'm preety sure that i'm not touching the power button at all!

So if anyone knows what might be the problem or knows a fix to this problem that would mean a lot to me.

Is the case made of conductive metals?

If so;
  • either some wires are touching the case, and when touching it, completing the circuit and turning it on
  • or the power button is faulty, and due to the vibrations made by touching, it turns on
You could;
  • check the wiring inside the PC, and move away the ones touching the case (specially the front panel connections)

State your PSU model, as such an issue could correlate to a PSU.
Other than this issue, is the system running stable under load, and you're not having other issues with it?
