Question Why does my RX 580 run horribly

my rx 580 has been running horribly recently it's been running games at 3 fps until a pc restart or until I turn off v-sync

it's been happening on games I love playing too is there any way to fix this?

This raises some flags. It's a poor PSU. One of the "best to avoid" PSUs. It's best if you upgrade it to a better one regardless if it's what is causing the poor performance.

How are your temps while gaming and in idle?

Use DDU in safe mode to remove and reinstall your GPU drivers.

my temps are usually near 70
and I've already tried reinstalling my gpu drivers
I think it may be what you've said might have to upgrade my psu

Is 21.5.2 the latest driver version? If so, have you tried using an older version? In some cases it helps

At least from what I've usually seen and read, Gigabyte RX 580s seem to tend to have inferior heat sinks at times. IIRC, the reviews on them were normally more non-favorable than not. Was the 70 degree part idle or while under load?

Hope this sheds at least a little light on it.
