So i ran a speedtest test and it said i got 7.68 Mbps, but i usually get a little around 1 MBps max download speed? I assume Mbps is Megabits and MBps is Megabytes and they are very different in rates? Is that why there is such a difference?
Yes they are incredibly different in terms of speed.
For example, I pay for 50 megabits, but usually get 60+, and my download speeds will peak at ~8 megabytes.
Yeah i see now, i just converted them and they match up from megaBITS to megaBytes. I was derping. I cant wait to get some better internet, its incredibly slow for downloading
