I recently built my pc and when I turned it on the ram, cpu, and gpu all had red lights. I took the graphics card off and the cpu and gpu red lights turned off, only the ram now has 2 red lights on top of both occupied slots.
Motherboard : X470 GAMING PLUS Max
GPU: geoforce gtx 1660 ventus oc
Ram:CORSAIR Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 3200
CPU: ryzen 5 2600
PSU: corsair cx 550 80 plus bronze

put your ram sticks in slots A2 and B2.
that is : leave the slot closest to cpu empty, use the next slot, then leave the next one empty and 2nd ram goes into the slot furthest away from cpu.

page 29 of this pdf:
https://download.msi.com/archive/mnu_exe/mb/E7B79v3.0.pdf

well it's here, English version, not asia or europe:

use only one ram. try inserting it in every slot. do the same for the other ram stick. that will be 8 tests. yes, every time you should turn the pc off of course.
I tried it but it showed a red light on the slot that was occupied by ram, on each try, also the boot and gpu red light are on consistently, the cpu and vga red light turns on and then off.

Can you try those rams on another computer that is functional?

you may also try clearing CMOS. first take the power cable out. don't just use switch, physically take the cable out. Turn your pc on in this situation. It will discharge all the capacitors. (correct, I meant press the power button on while pc is not plugged into electric outlet). now use a screwdriver to short circuit JBAT1 jumper for 10 seconds. your motherboards' manual shows you where this jumper is under clearing CMOS chapter. alternatively you can take the motherboard battery out for a minute and then put it back.

try testing your ram sticks on another pc that is already working, so we can make sure which parts of yours are not faulty. then gpu, etc

This is the only pc in the house, I can try to clear CMOS though!, it says I need a jumper cap to short circuit JBAT1, in the manual it says there's a clear CMOS button, but there's also clear CMOS(reset BIOS) jumper, are they different things?

you don't need a jumper cap. just use a key. screwdriver. scissors, whatever electrically conductive. Abraham Lincoln used his hands to comb his hair. Steve jobs introducing iPhone said: We’re gonna use a pointing device that we’re all born with – we’re born with ten of them. We’re gonna use our fingers.

pointing device, jumper cap. just short circuit the bloody jumper.

I cleared CMOS and it now only shows red lights on the ram sticks and GPU.
