Why does User Profile Service failed the logon happen and is there a way to prevent it?

This happened recently why to my moms laptop. She has a windows 7. Did a virus and malware scan and found nothing but still showed User Profile Service failed the logon. Dont worry its fixed now by creating a new account but i would like to know if there is a way to prevent this User Profile Service failed the logon from happening and why does it happen. I looked all over but no info on it just only how to fix.

I have read this before. still doesnt say much. but again what i really want to know why and how does it happen and what is there to prevent it. According to my mom she shut down the computer thats it but then when the next time she turned it on it happened.

Reason why im asking the is obvious that i dont want this happening to my account. also when it comes to windows 10 its complicated to fix. BTW i have windows 7
