Why does Windows 8 desktop not detect hdmi, amd radeon 7500 series?

It worked just fine for 3 months and then it was not found on my desktop/devices screen. I have gone through all the steps of the catalyst center. My desktop is a Dell XPS 8500. iCore 7
The TV is an LG and it detects a connection through both HDMI ports.

'Nothing can be sent from the desktop' is the message I get.

driver updates or windows updates can sometimes do things like that... try uninstalling amd drivers and reboot to let windows use its own drivers to run.

then install the amd drivers and reboot again.

This worked with my Benq Full HD monitor and AMD 7950
