Hi everyone,

I recently experience microstuttering in some games. I tried to solve the problem by my own but apparently I need your help.

My rig

Msi B85-g43
i5 4460
msi gtx 970
Kingston 8 gigs ddr3
ssd Crucial mx100
thermaltake smart se 630w
win 7 pro 64 bit

all drivers up to date, no temperature problems, no overlocking. no blue screen, no sudden game exit.
My rig has 4 years old. Perhaps some part needs replacement/ repair.

I already did some tests to ram and ssd and they were all ok.
I olso did three occt test. Two of them was without my gtx 970 ( intel hd 4600 instead)

no gtx 970 power supply test

no gtx 970 cpu test

with gtx 970 power supply test

Taking under consideration those results can you tell my which part of my pc can case huge periodical fps drops?

Thank you for any of your help.

Solution
you say microstuttering what is your method of connection to your screen is it displayport do you have displayport as an option because I had microstuttering and that was the only fix for me.
you can buy test equipment but at about £30 its better just to get a new PSU but for the sake of it my EVGA PSU is quite expensive but you do get 7 year guarantee with it. 3-4 years is about average for a good quality unit like a thermaltake
