[SOLVED] Why i cant overclock?

I got a new CPU (Intel I7 2600k) and i cant overclock it,in BIOS i dont even have anything related to overclocking,and in intel extreme tuning utility everything is grayed out. Why? My mobo is: Acer elena

That's why. OEM boards rarely allow for any form of overclocking. They use non-OC supporting chipsets and they're pretty basic in terms of features and power delivery.

Officially, no.

There may be some BIOS mods etc that would open up some options, but those are community made and risky (since your VRM etc isn't going to be able to handle any more than 'stock' anyway). Even then, I'd be surprised if anybody spent any time modding a BIOS for these boards, as it's a waste of time.

If your motherboard is a standard ATX format, you could replace it with a Z68 chipset based replacement.
But, I suspect your motherboard is proprietary.

Can you link me one motherboard i could use then?

Can you post a photo of your current motherboard?
How many expansion slots does it have?
What is the make/model of your pc?
A photo of the inside would help.
A photo of the rear would also help.
One option would be to replace your case so a new motherboard would fit.

I suspect you would do best to not spend much seeking added performance via overclocking.
Overclocking may require a aftermarket cooler.
